What separates Portage Parks from other park systems?  One exceptional feature is our trails.  Portage is one of the first communities to adopt the 'Rails to Trails' program in the mid-90's, taking proactive role in creating a greenway corridor that runs east-west through the City of Portage.  The Portage Parks' trail system offers the region a new choice in transportation, ecological preservation, and recreation.
