Woodland Park is a 64-acre regional park that is the center of the Portage Park System. It houses the Community Center, featuring banquet halls, park administrative offices, a gymnasium, and a variety of meeting rooms as well as an abundance of resources for leisure and recreation participation.
 
This picturesque wooded park is also home to the Portage Skatepark, Woodland Pre-school, the popular Kiddie Korner playground, a softball field and small diamond, a central gazebo, picnic shelters, a paved walking trail, and a new bouldering play area. The park contains a rich natural Oak Savanna habitat ecosystem and a new nature study area.
